  2. Doug was a great student and he was a good friend. When I felt down, he always tried to do something to cheer me up. It sucks that he was killed and I miss him very much.

  6. Rafael Lopez deserves a life sentence. He doesn't even look like he has any remorse at all. Makes me so angry.

    2. If you think this is okay then you have something wrong with you. He took 2 of the greatest people I know. Imagine if they were your family members you wouldn’t have this mindset.

  11. We should process him under murder rather than simple accident law, so that he get what he deserved.

  12. I wish people would stand up to the source of the problem... alcohol. At this pointed, if you get a DUI you should not be able to buy alcohol... mark something on the license or ID but this is ridiculous. Innocent people gone because of this ignorance.

    1. Yeah Mexican has nothing to do with it but it was murder not a mistake. I’m never going to forgive him for taking the two greatest people out of my life. Race has nothing to do with not being able to be responsible. I’m Mexican as well

  15. Very sad news! These cases are increasing day by day. Drunk driving accidents are on the rise. Highway patrol, sheriff officers, and police officers are constantly on the look out for those who are being careless in their operation of motor vehicles. With tougher laws against drunk driving, if one of these careless individuals is pulled over and accused of drinking and driving, they face extremely harsh penalties. Those that are assumed to cause an accident due to drinking and driving are immediately charged with DUIs and DWIs and face severe punishments.
